One in three single parents have changed their holiday plans due to financial difficulties, compared with an average of 26% of UK households. Single parents debt advice could be on a rise as a new report highlights money worries due to the credit crunch.
Legal & General (L&G) have reported that 90% of parents have adjusted their home life in order to ease financial difficulties. Ruth Wilkins, head of communications at L&G’s general insurance business comments: “The research highlights just how much our homes and home life can change as a result of wider influences on our lives.
